AUTOMOTIVE MAINTENANCE
As automotive ASE Master Techs, we understand that automotive maintenance is not particularly popular. For this very reason we highly recommend regular maintenance on your vehicle. We offer standard maintenance services on all trucks, cars, vans, SUVs, and just about any other vehicle. Some of our most popular services are listed below but we offer more customized maintenance services as well. Simply contact us to find out what your particular vehicle may need. We know it's more fun spending your money on a new 60" TV or that must have gadget, but with proper maintenance, your repair bills will be lower leaving more money for the fun things in life.
Air/Fuel Cleaning
When doing an air and fuel cleaning, most vehicles now a days don't have an external fuel filter. It is now incorporated in the fuel pump. So, adding a fuel injector cleaning it to the fuel tank helps dissolve the dirt and deposits that can accumulate in the fuel injector. When doing and air injection cleaning, you are cleaning the carbon that builds up from the EGR valve (Exhaust Gas Recirculation). If you've ever noticed, the inside of your exhaust pipe is black. Imagine that recirculating into your engine. That's why we recommend this service and it will keep your vehicle performing at it's best. You would normally want to incorporate this service with a tune up.

Brakes & Brake Fluid
How important are your brakes? VERY important! In this world we go faster and faster. Our pace is always at full speed and non-stop. But we all have to STOP! Keeping good quality brakes on our vehicles is a must! As your brakes get hot and cold, the brake fluid breaks down. It gets dark like our engine oil, which means it loses it's lubrication factor as well. There are a lot of moving parts in our braking system to lubricate, like master cylinders, brake calipers, ABS pumps and solenoids. We can do all of this and more. Be sure to let us do a brake check to keep you and your family safe!
Engine Coolant
Engine coolant (or antifreeze) prevents damage to your engine in hot and freezing cold weather. FACT...Without coolant, the engines in our vehicles would overheat. Overtime, as our engines heat and cool, the antifreeze will break down. Also, antifreeze has a lubrication factor to help keep the water pump lubricated. So this is why it's important to keep your coolant flushed and to prevent failures where things can go very wrong for your engine.
Engine Tune Ups
Lets be honest...we have all been behind that guy at a stop light that has that horrible smelling car. We can't get our windows up fast enough!! Don't be "that guy"! Keeping our cars tuned up, keeps our tailpipe emissions cleaner and prolongs our catalytic converters life. When an engine misfire happens, it puts in correct air fuel ratio out of our engine and into the catalytic converter and causes it to fail prematurely. This is the biggest reason to keep up on the manufactured scheduled tune up intervals.
Front and Rear Differentials
This is a normal service, like changing your oil. Should be done between every 75,000 and 100,000 miles.
Oil & Filter
One of the most common services everyone needs done are oil changes and they are a must. Like going out to a restaurant and getting fries...you can tell if they haven't changed the cooking oil as recommended. Your car also needs fresh oil. As engine oil gets hot, it breaks down and loses lubrication. This can cause early engine failure. New oil and filters are a must have maintenance!
Tire Rotations & Struts
Lets be honest, when it's time for new tires, it's a big expense. So, doing tire rotations and balancing keeps your tires wearing correctly and protects your investments. Like buying a new pair of shoes, they feel great on our feet, but if you don't take care of them, they wear out fast. Let us help to keep your tires in top shape!
Flush vs. Filter Change
A flush uses a professional grade machine to completely flush all the transmission fluid from your vehicle and remove some grime and contaminants from the torque converter and cooler lines to prevent them from causing transmission problems. This process involves running a special solution through the lines until they come out completely clean and then fills up the system with new fluid.
A fluid change on the other hand simply drains it using natural gravitational forces. Not all the fluid in the system is drained using this method and it does not flush out contaminants. Most say it only drains between 20%-40% of the total volume. The goal of both changes and flushes is to improve and extend the life and performance of your car.
